Many critics have written about her performances on stage and mostly in superlatives. For example, for her role in "The Gin Game" by Dean Lee Coburn the critics wrote: "Ljubica GOJKOVIK brought a very strong Monica on the stage that is breaking off not only with her life but also a woman that is betting her life in a game of. Her abilities as an actor are being transposed from attentive, subtly devoted femininity to harsh, systematic cunning, hurting woman and she was able to show her acting expressiveness as one of the positive axis of a theatre that was doomed to vanish. Gojkovik plays as it was her last game of gin rummy, last acting role and last day of her life! She’s totally embracing her ability for transformation and she is maximally showing Ljubica GOJKOVIK for what she is-leader of the National theatre in Kumanovo". She is also recipient of the city of Kumanovo Award for the play "The influence of gamma-rays on the ghostly marigolds" in 1984 and the November’s Award for life achievements in 2005.

  Dimitar KOSTOV (1936), acter

KOSTOV, Dimitar (Born in Bosilegrad in 1936) employed actor at the Macedonian Nation Theatre (MNT). He began his artistic career in 1959. He made his first steps on the stage of the National theatre in Stip where he was employed for four years. Right after his arrival from Stip to Skopje he was working in The Theatre for children and Youth in Skopje, for short period of time playing several roles. More significant is his role in the play "Autobiography" by Branislav Nusik directed by Aleksandar Glovacki. He prepared the main role in short period of time with very easygoing and dynamic play, succeeding to make citizens of Skopje laugh right after the catastrophic earthquake in 1963 when they were living in camps throughout Skopje. The critics wrote that the play was the firs spontaneous laughter of Skopje’s citizens after the natural catastrophe.

For whole two years, Kostov was working in the National theatre in Kumanovo. In the domestic play "The Wedding Dress/Vencalnica" by Efrem Kishon directed by Aco Gorcev, he was playing the role of Buki and became the first recipient of the Award for Young Artist on the first Theatre Festival "Vojdan Cernodrinski" in 1965. The next year he also received the same award for the second time, for his role as Franz in the play "The prisoners from Altoona" by Sartre directed by Aco Gjorcev. The award was given to him for his "enthusiastic and inspiring interpretation of his role as Franz". He was awarded, by the city of Stip, with his third award "8 October" as a token for his achievements while working in the National theatre in Stip.

From 1966 until his retirement in 1999, Kostov was working in MNT. With his pleasant sonorous voice, beautiful appearance, actors play full with finely lyricism he had his special place on many theatre stages in Macedonia. Kostov owns clear articulation, loud but still strong voice and fine and equally pulled vocal cords. His diction is always clear, correct, logical and harmonic. Our theatre stage is often stirred by unclear pronouncements and bad accents, infected by quotes always lacking pure speech. Clearly spoken sentences, as carved with chisel in the stone were always his advantage and they made him known and appreciated on the stage.

In MNT he was seen in many roles: Investigator’s double ("Winch"), Gregory Neznanov ("Guilty without guilt"), Roshko Podgorski ("Step away from Fall"), Kostadin ("Migrant workers"), Versioning ("Three sisters"), Basanio ("The Venice merchant"), Ilija ("Under the Pyramids"), Count Kent ("King Lire"), Ceda ("The minister’s wife"), Arso ("Corbadzi Teodos"), Kockarjov ("The wedding" 1st director’s assistant ), The Mayer ("The Inspector"), Osman bey ("Macedonian bloody wedding"), but also he has played in many anthological plays like "Happy New 1949" (Dile Jogracov), "The Glembays" (Zilbebrandt), "Macedonian situations" (Josip Kecman), "Bounty in the nursing home" (The butcher), "Barrel of gunpowder" and many others.

Besides acting Kostov was also active directing plays in the amateur theatres. Recitals were also his passion and he had participated in many radio dramas for children and youth as well as in some renowned TV dramas, series etc.
